Der Windpark Rubió[1] besteht aus 50 Windturbinen. Zunächst wurden etwa 33 Windturbinen installiert, was ihn zum damals wichtigsten Windprojekt in Katalonien machte. Diese Windturbinen waren in der Lage, Energie für 30.000 Haushalte zu produzieren. Der Bau des Windparks erfolgte im Herbst 2004, obwohl er im Frühjahr 2005 in Betrieb ging. Der Windpark befindet sich in den Gemeinden Rubió, Castellfullit del Boix und Òdena. Ende 2007 wurden 17 weitere Windturbinen installiert, sodass die Gesamtzahl auf 50 Windturbinen stieg, was dem Park eine installierte Leistung von 75 MW verlieh und etwa 50.000 Familien mit Elektrizität versorgen kann.[2]
