Wir schlendern ziellos durch die engen Gassen des jüdischen Viertels von Córdoba und erreichen die Plaza de los Abades. Es ist ein kleiner Platz, auf dem die Ermita de la Concepción mit ihren wunderschön restaurierten Pastelltönen ein echter Hingucker ist.
Dieser Platz wurde früher wegen des gleichnamigen Klosters Santa Clara genannt . Es war der Seidenmarkt, wo die Würmer in den Häusern für ihre spätere Gewinnung und Aufbereitung der Seide gezüchtet wurden .
