Der Col de la Colombière mit einer Höhe von 1.613 Metern verbindet die Täler Grand-Bornand und Reposoir zwischen dem Bornes-Massiv im Nordwesten und der Kette von Aravis im Südosten. Beim Col des Aravis handelt es sich um einen Kreuzungspunkt durch die gleichnamige Kette, der jedoch von untergeordneter Bedeutung ist: Die Cluse des Arve-Tals, die Bonneville mit Sallanches verbindet, bietet einen Weg Einfacher als Leihen neben der Autobahn Blanche.
