Lapalisse [lapalis] ist eine französische Gemeinde mit 3144 Einwohnern im Département Allier in der Region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Sie ist Teil des Arrondissement Vichy und Sitz des Gemeindeverbandes Pays de Lapalisse. Die Gemeinde liegt an der Besbre, etwa 20 Kilometer nordöstlich von Vichy. Das Ortsbild wird vom Schloss Lapalisse beherrscht.
