Chuffilly-Roche ist eine französische Gemeinde mit 72 Einwohnern im Département Ardennes in der Region Grand Est; sie gehört zum Arrondissement Vouziers und zum Kanton Attigny.Arthur Rimbaud lebte im Ortsteil Roche. Seine Mutter, Vitalie Rimbaud, bewirtschaftete hier den Bauernhof der Familie. Die Anwesenheit ihrer Familie mütterlicherseits, Cuif, ist bereits seit dem 16. Jahrhundert belegt. Rimbaud schrieb hier einige seiner Werke, darunter Eine Zeit in der Hölle und Das trunkene Schiff gleich in der Nähe des ortseigenen Waschhauses, an dem er sich gerne aufhielt. Wenige Monate vor seinem Tod Ende 1891 verbrachte er in Roche einige Wochen als Schwerkranker nach einer Krebsoperation.
