Trévoux ist eine französische Gemeinde in der Region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes im Département Ain. Sie ist dem Kanton Trévoux und dem Arrondissement Bourg-en-Bresse zugeteilt.Die mittelalterliche Kleinstadt mit 6920 Einwohnern befindet sich am westlichsten Rand des Départments Ain, an der Grenze zum Département Rhône und zwar am rechten Ufer der Saône, an einem steilen Schuttkegel rund 20 Kilometer nördlich von Lyon.
