Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume ist eine französische Gemeinde mit 17.095 Einwohnern im Département Var in der Region Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur. Sie ist Hauptort des gleichnamigen Kantons im Arrondissement Brignoles.Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume liegt etwa 40 Kilometer nordöstlich von Marseille, in einem kleinen Becken, das vor Urzeiten der Boden eines Sees war, nahe den Quellen des Argens. Teile des Gemeindegebietes gehören zum Regionalen Naturpark Sainte-Baume.
