Umgeben wird Ravenel von den Nachbargemeinden Maignelay-Montigny im Norden, Saint-Martin-aux-Bois im Osten und Nordosten, Léglantiers im Osten und Südosten, Angivillers im Süden, Le Plessier-sur-Saint-Just im Westen sowie Plainval im Nordwesten.
