Ihre Gründung geht auf das 5. Jahrhundert zurück. Sie wurde zwischen dem 12. und 15. Jahrhundert wieder aufgebaut und zeigt ein Panorama der Architektur, das von der Romanik bis zur Flamboyant-Gotik reicht. Die alten Gemälde und Skulpturen im Inneren sind ebenso bewundernswert wie die Glasfenster im Chor, die von Laurent-Charles Maréchal, dem großen Glasbläsermeister aus Metz, geschaffen wurden.
