Im Herzen der Bastide von Nay, unter den Arkaden, die den zentralen Platz säumen, befindet sich das Maison Carrée. Dieses ehemalige Herrenhaus aus dem 16. Jahrhundert ist ein Juwel der Renaissance und wurde als historisches Monument klassifiziert.
Die Architektur des Maison Carrée erinnert mit seinem Innenhof, den kunstvollen Fassaden und dem Treppenturm an die Renaissance. Ein kleiner Garten im hinteren Teil des Gebäudes sorgt für eine gute Belüftung. Das Maison Carrée ist auch ein Ort, an dem das ganze Jahr über wechselnde Ausstellungen stattfinden. Das Museum wird derzeit renoviert, Eröffnung im Juli 2024.
