Im Val de Dronne, nur wenige Kilometer von Ribérac entfernt, präsentiert das Gallo-Römische Museum von Petit-Bersac die Geschichte der archäologischen Stätte von Cidène. Dieses Dorf im Périgord Vert liegt in einem Gebiet, das bereits in der vorrömischen Zeit besiedelt war und in dem eine Reihe bemerkenswerter Überreste, darunter Thermen und eine große Kanalisation, vergraben sind.
Bei den Ausgrabungen, die der Archäologe Jean Pichardie vor Ort durchführte, wurden zahlreiche Gegenstände ans Licht gebracht, die heute in diesem Gemeindemuseum in den Nebengebäuden der Kirche ausgestellt sind. Töpferwaren, Keramik, Bronze, Schmuck, Münzen und Werkzeuge werden Ihnen in einem großen Saal mit Vitrinen und Schautafeln präsentiert.
