Dieser symbolträchtige Fronton für den baskischen Pelota-Sport in Biarritz und Frankreich wurde 1931 von Madame Boutineau und ihrem Sohn Paul erbaut und am 1. Januar 1932 eingeweiht. 1974 wurde Plaza Berri städtisch und Biarritztarrak (der örtliche baskische Pelota-Club) belebte den Giebel mit seiner Pelota-Schule, seinen Sektionen, der Organisation von Turnieren auf hohem Niveau mit bloßen Händen im 4 1/2er, in Pala Corta und während der gesamten Sommersaison, indem er ein authentisches Bild des baskischen Pelota-Sports vermittelte.
Plaza Berri ist ein "Sport- und Kulturdenkmal", aber auch ein architektonisches Denkmal mit seinen schönen Eichentribünen, das das Erbe von Biarritz um eine Einrichtung mit einer umfangreichen historischen Vergangenheit, aber auch mit einer Zukunft für die baskische P
