Kom en ontdek de wereld van de Baskische pelota op de Plaza Berri in het centrum van de stad.
Dit emblematische fronton van het Baskische peloton in Biarritz en in Frankrijk werd in 1931 gebouwd door mevrouw Boutineau en haar zoon Paul en ingehuldigd op 1 januari 1932. In 1974 werd Plaza Berri gemeentelijk en het is Biarritztarrak (lokale club van Baskische Pelota) die het fronton doet leven met zijn school van Pelota, zijn secties, de organisatie van toernooien van hoog niveau in de 4 en een half, in Pala Corta en gedurende het hele zomerseizoen door een authentiek beeld van de Baskische Pelota te geven.
Plaza Berri is een "sport- en cultuurmonument", maar ook een architectonisch monument met zijn prachtige eikenhouten tribunes, dat het erfgoed van Biarritz verrijkt met een etablissement met een rijk historisch verleden, maar met een veelbelovende toekomst voor Baskisch Pelota.
