Der Parc Pereire und die Abatilles bilden ein Wohnviertel im Herzen des Pinienwaldes. Die Frühlingsstadt Arcachon wurde inmitten eines baumbestandenen Parks erbaut und hat es verstanden, Grünflächen und ein angenehmes Lebensgefühl zu bewahren. Stilvolle Häuser stehen neben natürlichen Sehenswürdigkeiten; hier reimt sich Stadtplanung auf Umwelt. Das schönste Beispiel dafür ist der Parc Pereire, der zum Spazierengehen und Entspannen einlädt. Der Pinienwald erstreckt sich bis zum Ufer des Bassin d'Arcachon und bildet den Strand Pereire: ein feiner Sandstrand, der von einer langen Fußgängerpromenade und einem grünen Meeresgarten gesäumt wird, ideal für Schattenbader und Sonnenanbeter.
