Ein Wald, der einen Schatz beherbergt
In Sarreinsming bedecken die Wälder eine recht große Fläche: 266 ha, d. h. 38 % des Gemeindegebiets. Die Laubwälder bedecken den gesamten oberen Teil der Gemeinde und bestehen hauptsächlich aus Eichen und Buchen. Auf dem linken Saarufer ist der Wald noch immer sehr präsent. Alle Wälder auf dem Gemeindegebiet sind als Waldgebiete ausgewiesen und die meisten davon gehören der Gemeinde. Einige Waldwege sind vom Vogesenclub markiert. Bei einem Spaziergang durch den Großwald können Sie gallo-römische Überreste entdecken.
