Una foresta che nasconde un tesoro
Le foreste di Sarreinsming coprono una superficie piuttosto ampia: 266 ettari, pari al 38% del territorio comunale. I boschi di latifoglie coprono tutta la parte alta del comune e sono costituiti principalmente da querce e faggi. Sulla riva sinistra della Saar, la foresta è ancora molto presente. Tutti i boschi del comune sono classificati come aree boschive e la maggior parte di essi appartiene al comune. Alcuni sentieri forestali sono segnalati dal Club Vosgien. Passeggiando nella foresta di Grosswald, si scoprono resti gallo-romani.
