Die Kapelle der Madeleine wurde auf einer Terrasse errichtet, die das Borne-Tal überragt. Einer mündlichen Überlieferung zufolge befindet sich oberhalb des Gebäudes der Standort des alten Schlosses Planchamp, obwohl es keine archäologischen Beweise gibt, die diese Aussagen bestätigen.
