Die Domaine des Trahan, deren 60 Hektar großes Weingut im Norden von Deux-Sèvres liegt, nur wenige Kilometer von Thouars, einer Stadt der Kunst und Geschichte, und den Schlössern der Loire entfernt, produziert Weine der Appellationen Anjou und Saumur.
Die Weinberge werden nach dem Prinzip der nachhaltigen Bewirtschaftung bewirtschaftet und das Weingut ist als "Haute Valeur Environnementale" zertifiziert.
