Catherine bekennt sich zu ihrem Eklektizismus. Es wäre ihr unmöglich, sich in ihrer Malpraxis zu beschränken. Catherine wandert daher zwischen Malerei auf der Staffelei und Wandmalerei, Porzellanunikaten und Tischkunst. Das Porträtieren ist ihre andere Leidenschaft. Sie wird als "Hüterin der Seelen" bezeichnet; diejenige, die das Lesen von Gesichtern fasziniert. Catherine Serres unterrichtet seit über 20 Jahren bildende Kunst, Modellieren und Porzellanmalerei.
