Einige Kilometer südlich von Poitiers empfängt Sie der Bois de Saint Pierre, um frische Luft zu schnappen und die Natur zu genießen. Nutzen Sie vor allem den etwa 5 Hektar großen Tierpark, der europäische und exotische Tiere beherbergt. Er ist Mitglied des nationalen Verbands der französischen Tierparks und beherbergt 35 geschützte Arten, von denen einige vom Aussterben bedroht sind (Weißstirnlemur, Maki Catta, Surmoi-Fasan, Arz).
Jede Woche finden kommentierte Besichtigungen und pädagogische Workshops statt, die von einer Betreuerin geleitet werden (Reservierung erforderlich).
