Am Vorabend der Revolution von 1789 gab es keinen Priester mehr, der in der Ortschaft ansässig war, und auch danach gab es keinen mehr. Haute-Sierck war zuvor unabhängig und ist seit 1811 ein Nebengebäude der Gemeinde und Pfarrei Kerling-les-Sierck.
