Ville sur Lumes ist ein Dorf zwischen Charleville-Mézières und Vrigne aux Bois. Die Gemeinde hat 517 Einwohner. Die archäologischen Überreste eines gallischen Vicus, der um ein Fanum herum organisiert war, wurden 1956 freigelegt. Sie können entdecken: - tempel,- Töpferöfen,- Spuren eines metallurgischen Ofens- Wohnhäuser mit Kellerresten- einen Quellwasserkollektor mit Aquädukt- einen Zisternenbrunnen- Überreste von Abwasserkanälen,- einen Münzschatz,- Fibeln, Gürtelschnallen usw.,- zwei Nekropolen,- eine römische Straße Reims-Köln,- einen riesigen Graben aus der Spätantike, der den Vicus teilweise umgibt- Pfostenlöcher von Wohnhäusern aus der Spätantike.
