Die Kapelle von Falaise, wurde zwischen 1917 und 1918 von Soldaten des 236. deutschen Reserve-RI am Rande eines Soldatenfriedhofs errichtet. In den Jahren 1920-1930 wurden die Leichen dieser Soldaten auf den Friedhof von Chestres umgebettet. Ab 2009 wurde sie dank der Unterstützung deutsch-französischer Freiwilliger restauriert und 2014 mit den ersten Gedenkfeiern zum 100-jährigen Jubiläum abgeschlossen.
