Der Tour du Plô (Ende des 13. Jh.) ist das einzige zivile Relikt aus dieser Zeit. Dieser über 20 m hohe, quadratische Bergfried aus Stein schützte die Bevölkerung und setzte die Polizei- und Justizrechte des Vicomte de Limoges durch. Im Okzitanischen bedeutet "plô" "kleines Plateau" oder "Platz auf einem erhöhten Punkt". Der Eingang befand sich 5 m über dem Boden. Das Erdgeschoss war ein Gefängnis. Der zweite Stock war dem Vicomte vorbehalten, wenn er einen Zwischenstopp einlegte. Im dritten Stockwerk wurde sein Banner aufgehängt und die "gens d'armes" hielten Wache.
1998 wurde der Turm als historisches Monument klassifiziert. Die Stadt Saint-Yrieix und die Communauté de Communes du Pays de Saint-Yrieix haben ein Restaurierungsprogramm (2019-2021) durchgeführt, um die verschwundenen Böden und das Mauerwerk der letzten Ebene wiederherzustellen.
