Der Carmel de la Paix ist ein Werk des spanischen Architekten Jean-Louis Sert, eines Schülers von Le Corbusier. Das auf einem Hügel gelegene, bemerkenswerte zeitgenössische Gebäude wurde in den 1970er Jahren errichtet. Sie fügt sich vollständig in die Landschaft ein und trägt das Label "Kulturerbe des 20. Jahrhunderts". Etwa 30 Nonnen bringen das Klosterleben, die Gastfreundschaft und die landwirtschaftliche Arbeit auf einem Bauernhof und in einem Obstgarten miteinander in Einklang und sorgen so für ihren Lebensunterhalt. Die Karmelitinnen können Personen aufnehmen, um ein wenig an ihrem Leben, ihrem Gebet und ihrer Arbeit teilzuhaben. Messe jeden Tag von Montag bis Samstag um 11 Uhr (bitte vorher informieren). Im Karmeliterkloster herrscht Schweigen.
