Er ist einer der drei Gräben des Canal du Centre. Der pädagogische Rundgang zeigt den Canal du Centre von damals bis heute, die industrielle Aktivität, die sich mit dem Gütertransport auf dem Kanal entwickelte, das Leben in der Stadt und die anderen symbolträchtigen Bauwerke sowie dieses bemerkenswerte Bauwerk als eigenständiges Element in seiner natürlichen Umgebung. Die Anlage ist mit Schautafeln versehen.
