Olveston ist ein kleines Dorf und eine größere Pfarrei in South Gloucestershire, England. Die Pfarrei umfasst die Dörfer Olveston und Tockington sowie die Weiler Old Down, Ingst und Awkley. Die Bevölkerung der zivilen Pfarrei betrug bei der Volkszählung 2011 2.033. Alveston wurde 1846 eine separate Kirchenpfarrei. Das Gebiet ist seit der Steinzeit bewohnt, und die Salzmarschen, die fast die Hälfte der Pfarrei ausmachten, wurden in römischer und sächsischer Zeit schrittweise trockengelegt. Zur gleichen Zeit wurde ein Deich errichtet, um Überschwemmungen aus der nahegelegenen Mündung des Flusses Severn zu verhindern.
