East Horsley ist ein Dorf und eine Grafschaft im Surrey, England, 21 Meilen südwestlich von London, an der A246 zwischen Leatherhead und Guildford. Die Bahnhöfe Horsley und Effingham Junction liegen an der New Guildford-Linie nach London Waterloo. Die beiden Hälften des alten Horsley sind ähnlich, da sie umfangreiche Waldgebiete und einige kalkhaltige Hanglagen im Süden der North Downs haben.
East Horsley erscheint im Domesday Book von 1086 als mit zwei Herrenhäusern aufgelistet, die unter dem Haupttitel des Herrenhauses Horslei aufgeführt sind. Dieses wurde von Lanfranc, dem Erzbischof von Canterbury, gehalten. Seine Domesday-Assets waren: 3 Hides und 1½ Virgaten; 8½ Pflüge, Wald, der 50 Schweine wert ist. Es zahlte jährlich 5 £ an seine Oberherren.
