East Horsley è un villaggio e una parrocchia civile nel Surrey, Inghilterra, a 21 miglia a sud-ovest di Londra, sulla A246 tra Leatherhead e Guildford. Le stazioni ferroviarie di Horsley e Effingham Junction si trovano sulla nuova linea Guildford per Londra Waterloo. Le due metà dell'antico Horsley sono simili per avere una notevole superficie boschiva e alcune pendenze di gesso nella parte meridionale dei North Downs.
East Horsley appare nel Domesday Book del 1086 come avente due manieri, elencati sotto l'intestazione del principale maniero di Horslei. Questo era detenuto da Lanfranco, Arcivescovo di Canterbury. I suoi beni nel domesday erano: 3 nascondigli e 1½ virgate; 8½ aratri, bosco del valore di 50 maiali. Renderebbe £5 all'anno ai suoi signori.
