Die A57 ist eine wichtige Straße in England. Sie verläuft von Liverpool nach Lincoln, über Warrington, Cadishead, Irlam, Patricroft, Eccles, Salford und Manchester, dann durch die Pennines über den Snake Pass (zwischen den Hochmooren von Bleaklow und Kinder Scout), um den Ladybower-Stausee, durch Sheffield und vorbei an Worksop. Innerhalb von Manchester wird ein kurzer Abschnitt zur A57(M)-Autobahn (der Mancunian Way).
