Der Bahnhof Newry bedient Newry und Bessbrook in Nordirland. Die Station befindet sich im Nordwesten von Newry, County Armagh an der Dublin-Belfast-Linie in der Nähe des Craigmore-Viadukts.
Der Hafen von Newry war bereits 1742 ein Verkehrsknotenpunkt mit der Eröffnung des Newry-Kanals zum Lough Neagh. Zu Beginn des zwanzigsten Jahrhunderts war Newry zu einem Eisenbahnknotenpunkt geworden, wobei die Belfast-Dublin-Linie westlich der Stadt verlief, während die Linien von den Häfen Warrenpoint und Greenore auf beiden Seiten des Carlingford Lough näher zum Stadtzentrum konvergierten, wo die Bahnhöfe günstiger gelegen waren. Alle liefen in Goraghwood nördlich von Newry zusammen, wo eine Linie auch nach Nordwesten in Richtung Armagh abzweigte.
