Die Pitstone Quarry ist ein 10,3 Hektar großes geologisches Gebiet von besonderem wissenschaftlichen Interesse in Pitstone, Buckinghamshire. Es liegt zwischen dem See und der Eisenbahnlinie im Naturreservat College Lake.
Das Gebiet legt Ablagerungen aus dem mittleren und späten Pleistozän frei, das während der letzten halben Million Jahre entstanden ist. Die meisten Sedimente sind das Ergebnis von Solifluction, wiederholtem Abrutschen während der Eiszeiten, wobei die Hänge mit Sedimenten gefüllt sind. Die jüngste warme Periode, das Ipswichian vor etwa 125.000 Jahren, enthält Fossilien von Flusspferden. Laut Natural England wird die Bewertung fortgesetzt und "die Ergebnisse werden mit Spannung erwartet".
