Leicestershire [ˈlɛstəʃə] ist eine Grafschaft im Zentrum Englands. Die Grafschaft ist nach dem Verwaltungssitz, der Stadt Leicester, benannt. Die Grafschaft grenzt an den Stadtkreis von Leicester sowie an die Grafschaften Lincolnshire, Rutland, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire und Nottinghamshire. Große Teile des National Forest sind Teil der Grafschaft. Ohne die Stadt Leicester beträgt die Bevölkerung 648.700 Einwohner , die auf einer Fläche von 2083 km² leben.
