Ballybay ist eine Stadt und eine zivile Pfarrei im County Monaghan, Irland. Die Stadt liegt an der Kreuzung der regionalen Straßen R183 und R162.
Die Stadt ist der Treffpunkt für Straßen, die nach Monaghan, Castleblayney, Carrickmacross und Clones führen. Die Stadt entstand aus der Zusammenführung der Straßen. Die Stadt ist neben einem großen See, Lough Major, und dem kleineren Lough Minor erbaut. Der Dromore River fließt ebenfalls durch den Süden der Stadt, vorbei an den Fußballplätzen der Pearse Brothers und am Riverdale Hotel.
