Der Rosengarten ist ein Gebirgtszug mit grandiosen Panorama Ziel vieler Tourengeher und Bergsteiger im Fassatal. Seine Gipfel erreichen 3.000 m Höhe. Er grenzt im Nordern an den Langkofel an, einem Mythos der Geschicht des Alpinismus. Dem folgt kurz nach Canazei die Marmoladagruppe, die mit der Punta Penia bis zu 3.342 m Höhe erreicht. In dieser Berg-Gruppe befindet sich der grösste Gletscher der Dolomiten.
