Ajdir oder Axdir ist eine Stadt in der Rif-Region im Norden von Marokko in der Provinz Al Hoceïma, etwa 7 km von der Stadt Al Hoceïma entfernt. Sie ist dicht besiedelt, liegt im Einpendelbereich von Al Hoceïma und zeigt deshalb ein dynamisches Wachstum. Dies schlägt sich in moderner Architektur nieder. Die Stadt hatte 2014 5314 Einwohner.
Ajdir war zwischen 1921 und 1926 die Hauptstadt der Rif-Republik.
In dem lokalen Berberdialekt, dem Tarifit, bedeutet Aŷdīr Mauer und mit dem Wortanhang Festung. Ihr Ursprung ist wahrscheinlich punisch.
