Boven-Leeuwen ist einer der Ortsteile der Gemeinde West Maas en Waal in der niederländischen Provinz Gelderland. Am 1. Januar 2021 hatte das Dorf 2.245 Einwohner auf einer Fläche von 651 Hektar. Boven-Leeuwen liegt zwischen dem größeren Beneden-Leeuwen und der Gemeinde Druten. Bis zum 1. Januar 1818 bildeten Boven- und Beneden-Leeuwen die Gemeinde Leeuwen, die an diesem Datum in die Gemeinde Wamel einging. Die Gemeinde Wamel ging 1984 ihrerseits in die Gemeinde West Maas en Waal auf, zu der auch die Orte Alphen, Altforst, Appeltern, Dreumel, Maasbommel und Wamel gehören.
