Loo ist ein niederländisches Dorf in den Gelderner Liemers, nahe Duiven und Zevenaar, östlich von Arnhem. Loo gehört zur Gemeinde Duiven und hat 1.135 Einwohner. Der ursprüngliche Name des Dorfes war Angeroyen, benannt nach den Werten, die zu Angeren gehörten, auf der Betuwe-Seite des Rheins. Nach einer Flussverlagerung im Mittelalter lagen diese Werte auf der Liemer Seite. So kam das Dorf Angeroyen in die Liemers. Es bestand aus einem Rodungsgebiet zwischen Westervoort und Groessen, umgeben von einem alten Rheinarm: dem Leijgraaf. Die Verbindung zum Dorf Angeren zeigt sich im Namen, ein Ooy ist ein anderes Wort für Wert.
