Sprundel ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Rucphen in der niederländischen Provinz Noord-Brabant. Es liegt zwischen St. Willebrord und Rucphen. Die nächstgelegenen größeren Orte sind Etten-Leur und Roosendaal. Am 1. Januar 2021 hatte das Dorf 5.350 Einwohner. Sprundel ist auch eine ehemalige Gemeinde. Der Name Sprundel lässt sich nicht gut erklären. Verschiedene Theorien existieren, doch Eindeutigkeit ist darin nicht zu finden. Möglicherweise ist die Endung -el aus -lo entstanden, wie bei einigen anderen Brabantischen Ortsnamen.
