Sprundel es una aldea en el municipio de Rucphen en la provincia holandesa de Brabante Septentrional. Se encuentra entre St. Willebrord y Rucphen. Las grandes localidades más cercanas son Etten-Leur y Roosendaal. El 1 de enero de 2021, el pueblo tenía 5.350 habitantes. Sprundel es también un antiguo municipio. El nombre Sprundel no se puede explicar fácilmente. Existen diversas teorías al respecto, pero no hay claridad al respecto. Es posible que el sufijo -el se haya originado a partir de -lo, al igual que en varios otros nombres de lugares de Brabante.
