Der Wasserturm in Steenbergen wurde 1950 erbaut und von dem Architekten Jacques Hurks entworfen. Der Turm hat eine Höhe von 40,65 Metern und verfügt über ein Wasserreservoir von 600 m3. Der Turm ist aus Ziegelstein und Beton gebaut.
Zwischen 1998 und 2000 stand der Turm leer. Im Jahr 2000 ließ sich die Kindertagesstätte "Toerdeloo" nach einer umfangreichen Renovierung im Turm nieder.
