La torre dell'acqua a Steenbergen è stata costruita nel 1950 ed è stata progettata dall'architetto Jacques Hurks. La torre ha un'altezza di 40,65 metri e dispone di un serbatoio d'acqua di 600 m3. La torre è realizzata in mattoni e cemento.
Tra il 1998 e il 2000 la torre è rimasta vuota. Nel 2000, l'asilo "Toerdeloo" si è trasferito nella torre dopo una significativa ristrutturazione.
