Die Vaalsbroekermolen liegt an der Landstraße Epen-Vaals beim Schloss Vaalsbroek. Die Vaalsbroekermolen wird von Wasser aus einem Speicherteich betrieben, der von den Quellen auf dem Grundstück des Schlosses gespeist wird. Die Geschichte des Herrenhauses Vaalsbroek ist eng mit der Familie Von Clermont verbunden. Diese Tuchhersteller verlegten ihr Unternehmen im 17. Jahrhundert von Aachen nach Vaals. Johann Arnold von Clermont ließ 1761 das bereits 1733 errichtete Schloss Vaalsbroek umbauen.
