Der Beneluxtunnel ist eine 1300 Meter lange Uferverbindung unter der Neuen Maas in Rotterdam und Schiedam für Kraftfahrzeuge, Radfahrer und die Rotterdamer U-Bahn. Er besteht aus mehreren Tunnelröhren, die Vlaardingen und Schiedam mit Hoogvliet verbinden. In den sechziger Jahren bestand ein großer Bedarf an mehr Uferverbindungen als der Maastunnel und die verschiedenen Fähren, was zur Ringstraße um Rotterdam führte. Die östliche Überquerung der Maas wird seit 1964 von der Van Brienenoordbrücke bereitgestellt und die westliche seit 1967 von dem ersten Beneluxtunnel.
