Der Diemer Wald ist ein Parkgebiet, das in den 1990er Jahren im Naturschutzgebiet Gaasp und Diem angepflanzt wurde. Es ist ein junger Wald. Zu Beginn der 90er Jahre wurden die Bäume in einem offenen Polder mit viel Wasser gepflanzt. Während Ausgrabungen wurden jahrhundertealte Holzstämme gefunden, was auf einen ursprünglichen alten Wald hinweist.
