Los bosques de Diemer son un área de parque plantada en la década de 1990 en la reserva natural Gaasp y Diem. Es un bosque joven. A principios de los 90, los árboles se plantaron en un pólder abierto con mucha agua. Durante las excavaciones se encontraron troncos de madera de siglos de antigüedad, lo que implica un bosque antiguo original.
