In Maastricht, hoch oben auf dem Sint-Pietersberg, befindet sich dieses wunderschöne Ferienhaus für zwölf Personen. Der Name Hoeve Lichtenberg stammt von dem Wort Hoeve Lochtenborg, das hochgelegenes Schloss bedeutet.
Der carré-Hof stammt aus dem zwölften Jahrhundert und wurde im siebzehnten Jahrhundert neu aufgebaut. Das ursprüngliche Wohnhaus wird heute als Ferienwohnung genutzt. Der Hof ist im Besitz des Vereins Natuurmonumenten.
