In Maastricht, on top of the Sint-Pietersberg, this beautiful holiday home for twelve people is located. The name Hoeve Lichtenberg is derived from the word Hoeve Lochtenborg which means high castle.
The carré farm dates back to the twelfth century and was rebuilt in the seventeenth century. The original dwelling is now used as a holiday home. The farm is owned by the Nature Monuments Association.
