In diesem 80 Hektar großen Naturschutzgebiet können sich die Besucher nach Herzenslust erholen. Überall herrscht eine entspannte Atmosphäre. Vor allem in der Brasserie Schutterhüske. Von hier aus können Besucher den Wald zum Wandern und Radfahren betreten.
Schräg gegenüber der Schuttershüske befindet sich der Spielplatz mit Rettungsschwimmern. Es ist ein schattiges Spielparadies, in dem sich die Kinder die ganze Zeit fröhlich bewegen. Eltern und Großeltern können etwas trinken und Pommes essen, während sie das Spektakel genießen.
