Der Leidse Rijn oder Leidsche Rijn ist ein Kanal in der niederländischen Provinz Utrecht zwischen Utrecht und Harmelen. Er wurde teilweise in der späten Mittelalter, teilweise im 17. Jahrhundert angelegt, um den westlich von Utrecht verlaufenden Fluss Rhein zu ersetzen, der immer stärker ins Mäandrieren und Verlanden geriet und dadurch unbefahrbar wurde. Bei der Anlage wurden bereits bestehende Teile von Flüssen und anderen Wasserläufen genutzt.
